I’d like to train as a teacher, where do I start?
United Teaching is our teacher training scheme, and it’s a great place to start your career. Benefitting from initial training while you teach in a Group school, you'll be able to take up your second placement at another of our schools – fully supported by a mentor – and progress to a qualified teaching role within the network. I need to move house to take up a new role – will I be eligible for a remuneration package?
If your new role is eligible for an Enhanced Benefits Package, then you could receive up to £8,000 to help with relocation costs. This can be put towards the cost of buying or renting a new home, and you will also receive a health care package for your first year of employment. Can I transfer between schools?
We want to keep talent within the United Learning network, so we’re always keen for staff to apply for internal roles.
